It depends. Konni uses the WhatsApp Business API, which requires a dedicated number — separate from your personal WhatsApp. If you already have a business line, you can connect it. If not, we'll guide you through getting one. It's a one-time setup and takes about 10 minutes.

An AI message is any guest question that Konni answers automatically — "What's the WiFi password?", "What time is checkout?", things like that. Automated sequences (check-in reminders, review requests) also count toward your limit. Messages you reply to manually do not count. So your 100 monthly messages go entirely toward automated responses.

During Early Access, if you hit the limit Konni will let you know and you'll handle the rest of that month's conversations manually — just like before. We'll never cut off a guest mid-stay without warning. When paid plans launch, you'll be able to upgrade for a higher limit.

No. Konni is designed to work without one. You add your properties and guests manually in a few taps — it takes under 10 minutes to set up your first property. PMS integration is on our roadmap for hosts who want it, but it will never be required.
